The River is just starting to clear enough to use other methods instead of bait but unfortunately another big storm is hitting. It will be a least a couple of weeks before I start fishing it.

Feather River: I don’t think the Feather River below the Yuba river will fish this year, it’s to muddy to fish this year unless except for  bait. The Feather river above the Yuba river has a bunch of small fish and is fish-able but the flows are expected to increase to 50,000 cfs in a few days and will blow this section out even if we don’t get any rain with this next storm.

The Delta:  Pretty muddy right now. But with the flows going up expect it to be blown out soon.

I recommend waiting to go on a striper trip with me. The water will have to clear enough to get some  good fishing in.  Another issue is the water temp,  currently it’s to cold, it will have to warm up before the stripers  spawn.
